Two Lights for Tomorrow marks the start of the U.S. 250th anniversary commemoration, honoring Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride as a symbol of unity and service.
Nationwide Efforts
On April 18, statehouses will shine two lights, echoing Revere’s signal. On April 19, states will promote a day of service tailored to local needs.
Connecticut Efforts
Community centers, municipal buildings, museums, and private residences are encouraged to display two lights on April 18. On April 19, towns can organize service projects such as:
- Planting gardens
- Neighborhood clean-ups
- Food & supply drives
- Writing notes to care facility residents
