The 14 March 2026 Edition of CVB’s Weekly Connecticut Veterans Calendar Publication includes 82 events for CT Veterans remaining in March. Whereas Volume two Includes 121 events for CT Veterans beyond March. Volume three includes recurring CT Veterans events. Saint Patrick’s Day Events included in Volume One

Connecticut Veterans Bulletin Saint Patrick’s Day Edition features March events from Volume One, future April–August highlights from Volume Two, and ongoing programs from Volume Three. Enjoy meals, bingo, karaoke, line dancing, wellness programs, family activities, and veteran support statewide.

The Connecticut Veterans Bulletin Saint Patrick’s Day Edition brings a full, integrated view of Connecticut’s veteran community. It combines Volume One’s current March events, Volume Two’s future events from April through August, and Volume Three’s ongoing programs and resources, offering a comprehensive guide for veterans, their families, and supporters across the state.

V.1 Current months events – March Events and Saint Patrick’s Day Celebrations

Volume One focuses on current month activities, with March events designed for socialization, recreation, and community engagement. Veterans can enjoy:

  • Weekly and monthly meals: Pasta nights at American Legion Post 68 in Kensington, spaghetti dinners at Post 102 in Manchester, Paradox Brewing Pizza & Brew Night at VFW Post 399 in Westport, and Sunday breakfasts at various posts statewide.
  • Entertainment and recreation: Bingo, pool tournaments, trivia, karaoke nights, line dancing at American Legion Litchfield, and Texas Hold ’Em tournaments at VFW Post 201.
  • Saint Patrick’s Day-specific activities: Festive dinners, music, and themed gatherings that celebrate the holiday while supporting camaraderie among veterans.
  • Coffee with Veterans: Monthly social meetups offering breakfast and conversation at American Legion Post 68 in Berlin.

Volume One events provide immediate opportunities for social connection, fun, and local community engagement in March.

V.2 events beyond current month. – April to August 2026 Future Highlights

Volume Two outlines upcoming events, giving veterans and families a clear look ahead to plan attendance and support:

  • Fundraising and charity events: Backpacks For Life donation drive in Storrs, Windsor Veteran and Military Appreciation Day, and Meals With Meaning for Veterans Rally Point.
  • Recreational and competitive events: Golf tournaments including the American Legion Post 196 Annual Golf Tournament, Swinging Fore Vets Golf Tournament, fishing derbies, and poker runs.
  • Family-friendly activities: Touch-A-Truck in Southington, classic and antique car shows, and veteran-focused festivals.
  • Concerts and benefit events: Ten $ Grand Premium Classic Rock Concert in Westport and Stage of Dreams Wounded Warrior Benefit in Lebanon.
  • Summer engagement: Step Up For The Brave stair climb in August supports homeless veterans and encourages statewide participation.

Volume Two allows forward planning for veterans to participate in charitable, social, and recreational events through August 2026.

V.3 recurring programs & VOB Directory – Recurring Programs and Ongoing Services

Volume Three emphasizes continuity and accessibility for veterans beyond specific events:

  • Meals and social gatherings: Recurring Sunday breakfasts, pasta, steak, and pizza dinners across VFW and American Legion posts with affordable pricing ($9–$30), takeout options, and family-friendly settings.
  • Entertainment and engagement programs: Bingo, trivia, karaoke, pool, poker, darts, board games, line dancing, and Soldier Songs & Voices music workshops.
  • Wellness programs: Equine-assisted therapy (Horse Feathers, Shepard Meadows, V.E.T.S.), acupuncture and PTSD support (Warriors for Warriors), art therapy (Honor Wellness Center), and peer-to-peer veteran support groups.
  • Educational and employment support: Entrepreneurship boot camps at UConn, CCSU veterans office educational assistance, Connecticut Department of Labor Veterans Services employment support, and VRP broadcasting internships.
  • Donation and community support initiatives: Care package drives, Easterseals Veterans Rally Point legacy brick campaigns, and community volunteer opportunities.

Volume Three ensures year-round veteran support, fostering camaraderie, wellness, education, and access to resources beyond seasonal or one-time events.
