Growing up in Middletown, Spencer embraced life with an open heart and a generous spirit, graduating from Wolcott High School in the Class of 2015. Known for his compassionate and helpful nature, he pursued a path of service, joining the United States Army as a Human Resources Specialist. In 2020, he deployed with HHC 192nd Military Police Company and served in the ALOC platoon, fulfilling his duties with dedication and honor. Spencer was not only a soldier but also a mentor and guide, serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 231, where he shared his wisdom and energy with young scouts.

Spencer’s life was marked by his love for family, adventure, and giving back to his community. He had a passion for riding his quad, playing paintball and airsoft, and immersing himself in a good book. His selflessness and big heart made him a treasured friend and family member, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. His legacy lives on in the memories shared by his parents, Norman and Nancy Weis, and his six sisters—Natalie, Nicole, Chelsea, Shawnna, his twin sister Riley, and Hailey. He was also adored by his grandmother, Nancy Weis, his grandparents George and Joan Stone, his nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, and countless friends.
