ON 3 FEBRUARY 1943, THE TROOP TRANSPORT SHIP, SS DORCHESTER, WAS TORPEDOED BY A GERMAN SUBMARINE AND SUNK IN THE ICY WATERS OF THE NORTH ATLANTIC. FOUR ARMY CHAPLAINS GAVE THEIR LIFEJACKETS, AND LIVES, TRYING TO SAVE AND COMFORT THE SERVICEMEN ON BOARD.

JOIN US IN REMEMBERING AND HONORING THEIR SACRIFICE

THERE WILL HAVE A BRIEF CEREMONY TO HONOR THE CHAPLAINS, FOLLOWED BY A DOCUMENTARY PRESENTATION OF THEIR STORY. TOURS OF THE MUSEUM AND REFRESHMENTS TO FOLLOW.
