Graduating from Watertown High School in 2002, he pursued higher education at Manhattanville College and Fordham University before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Deployed to Fallujah, Iraq, with the 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, he exhibited bravery and valor until his last moments.
