There is an urgent need for boat captains to participate in an important event. This year, there’s a shortage of boats, while a large number of veterans are hoping to enjoy time on the water. Consider offering a few hours of your time to someone who will truly appreciate the experience. The goal is to ensure no veteran is turned away. It’s easy, fun, and rewarding.

Many supporters come together to make this event happen, including The Sea Mist, local Elks, Lenny’s, committee members, and the host, Branford Yacht Club (BYC). Free overnight tie-up or boat/trailer storage is available for those who need it.

Branford Yacht Club – Captains Needed!

Over 40 boats are needed to take 150 veterans out for a day of fishing, sailing, or cruising. After a memorable morning on the water, captains and veterans are invited to a complimentary BBQ dinner with live music at the Branford Yacht Club. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches will also be provided.
