Flags will be retrieved at the State Veterans Cemetery on Bow Lane in Middletown from the final resting place of those who served our Country on Saturday, Nov 16th at 9:00am. Retrieval of the Flags are to preserve them for future use at the Cemetery. Veteran groups, Scout Troops, Youth Groups, Public, Community Organizations, and all that have assisted all these years in honoring and remembering those Veterans who served our Country are welcome to show their sacrifices are “NOT FORGOTTEN”. Flags are being removed to be stored and preserved on November 16th starting at 9:00am and help is needed for this, weather permitting. Please pass along this request to others to help us to continue to honor those who were willing to serve and fight for the rights and freedoms we enjoy today.
