About Valhalla MC Connecticut
“Valhalla MC Valhalla Means “hall of the slain” Those who die in combat travel to Valhalla and join those who have died before them. Only those that are true warriors, at heart, go to Valhalla. There they feast everyday and await the battle with the wolf, the same wolf they have kept away from the doorstep of America every day.
We of the Valhalla MC are a club open to all whose virtues and beliefs are of honor, courage, commitment, and Integrity and believe in America and all it stands for. We believe in, support, and defend the flag that fly’s above our country and what it stands for as well as those that have given the ultimate sacrifice in both protecting it and preserving what our America stands for. We support America and those who defend it through attending the funerals of our countries fallen, supporting functions and organizations that support our veterans and their families who have made the ultimate sacrifice, offer aid to those organizations and functions supporting our returning wounded and offer a hand to those returning who need a brother. We are the escorts and guardians of those who will travel to Valhalla as well as those who will live to fight for us another day. You do not need to be a veteran to ride with us, but many of us are, you just have to believe in what we do and support the American flag and those that defend it. We are loyal to those that fight for America and the freedom we are given. We as a club support them for they are true to the meaning of Valhalla.
Our Colors
The Helmet, Rifle, and boots represent those that have given the ultimate sacrifice and have fallen in defense of our country. The helmet they wore in combat, the rifle they carried and fought our enemies with, the boots they wore no matter how tired they were. We wear it to remember and honor them as well as a continuous reminder to all who see it that there are warriors, our brothers, dying daily for our great country. They do it day and night as we rest. They are not to be forgotten. We ride with them and for them.
The two white skulls represent that you always have a brother; no
one is alone, even in death. The white, which is the purest of colors, signifies the pure of heart and soul that a true warrior has. They lived by and never compromised their values as men even to their death which they gave willingly. The white represents the integrity of a man’s sole.
The Blue represents the senior color of honor. It is the color on the highest award given by our country to its warriors, the Medal of Honor, as well as one of the three colors that adorns our flag. It drapes behind our fallen monument to represent the highest of respect and honor, like the Medal of Honor. It encompasses the helmet, rifle, boots, and skull as their lives and sacrifices where of the highest honor that any man can give for his country. And lastly it is the blue end of our flag that drapes their face as they are laid to rest. The gold band represents the
purest of metals. It represents what everybody wants but not everybody can have. The purest gold outlines the sacred blue. It Keeps out those not true to America, our principles, and those that fight for her. It keeps those not true, to our fighters, our country, and the beliefs we ride for, out. It rings the blue keeping out all those that would not be worthy of sitting with those that sit in Valhalla. It surrounds those that have not wavered from their commitment. The flag represents the nation itself, our America. All what we believe in and support and what good men are willing to die for. It fly’s unwavering like the men who protect it and what it stands for. It represents all those that have died in its service as it covers their caskets and for ever more fly’s above them, in our cemetaries, for the service they have given our country And finally the banner of ” Death Before Dishonor” flows across the front encompassing all of those who have passed and we ride for. Reminding us that good men have lived and died living by that belief. That they chose death for God and country before allowing any harm to our families, our America, or the things we stand for. It reminds us that many more continue to live by that motto and are willing to die for us. For them and with them we ride.”
