In Loving Memory of Joseph A. Kulikowski

Joseph A. Kulikowski, aged 90, beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Sherry) Kulikowski, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Born on January 19, 1934, in New Jersey, Joe was the son of the late Joseph J. and Victoria Kulikowski. He spent most of his life in Stratford and retired from the town of Stratford Housing Authority.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Joe served during the Korean Conflict and was a dedicated member of the Stratford American Legion and VFW, as well as the Milford VFW. Known as a true jack of all trades, he cherished his time spent with family, his dogs, and his passion for hunting.

Joe is survived by his son, Joseph Kulikowski of Shelton, six grandchildren including Danielle Singer, Jessica Singer, and Georgette Carrero, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Mary-Jo Kulikowski, and three brothers and a sister.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial/Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home, 240 North Main Street, Naugatuck. To send condolences or share memories, please visit www.naugatuckvalleymemorial.com.
