The Morgan-Weir American Legion Post of Litchfield is calling on local veterans to be part of a lasting tribute. The Post is seeking to add names to the War on Terror monument, located on the Green in Litchfield, CT. Veterans who enlisted while residing in Litchfield, Bantam, Milton, East Litchfield, or Northfield from August 2, 1990, to the present, and who served honorably, are eligible to have their names engraved on this special monument.

This initiative honors those who courageously served during the War on Terror, ensuring that their contributions are forever remembered in the community. Whether you or someone you know meets the eligibility requirements, the Morgan-Weir American Legion Post invites you to come forward and take part in this tribute to service and sacrifice.

For more information or to submit your name, veterans are encouraged to reach out via email to **mwalpost@gmail.com** or directly to Deirdre McGurk Caldwell, the Post Service Officer, who is also available through Facebook.

This is a unique opportunity to be commemorated alongside fellow local heroes and to ensure that future generations recognize the sacrifices made by veterans from the Litchfield area.
