Major Raymond Gray Estelle II, a devoted U.S. Air Force cyberspace operations officer, was born on January 16, 1971, in New Haven, Connecticut. He served his country for 22 years, stationed at various bases including Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

Tragically, Major Estelle was killed in action on April 27, 2011, in Kabul, Afghanistan, just one day after his arrival. He left behind his wife, Major N’Keiba Estelle, and their two children, Shayla and Raymond III.

Major Estelle was known for his boundless enthusiasm, charisma, and devotion to his family, community, and faith. He mentored others and led Bible studies, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. He was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service and sacrifice.

His funeral, held at Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, Florida, was a solemn tribute to his life and service. Friends and colleagues remembered him as a man who embodied love, compassion, and a commitment to helping others. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
