VFW POST 2046 Manchester invites all veterans and guests to join the post for the laying of wreaths at the Manchester Vietnam Memorial. We will also, salute the arrival of the “The Wall That Heals” to Manchester on September 17th
Laying of the wreaths will be begin at 11:45am.
Arrival of the wall will be at approximately 12pm.

Celebrating the Birthday of CPL Kemaphoom “Ahn” Chanawongse
We honor Corporal Kemaphoom “Ahn” Chanawongse, who inspired many with his courage and dedication. Born in Thailand on May 5, 1980, and raised in Waterford, Connecticut, Ahn enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving until his sacrifice in Iraq on March 23, 2003. His legacy lives on through a scholarship and cherished memories.
Maurice L. Collin Vietnam Veteran
Maurice “Moe” L. Collin, a dedicated Vietnam War veteran, passed away at 75 on May 5, 2023. Born on March 22, 1948, he was honored for his service, receiving a Purple Heart. Moe passionately advocated for disabled veterans and left a legacy of love and support, remembered fondly by family and friends.
