Born in Stamford, Connecticut, Brian’s journey was one of excellence, dedication, and an unwavering spirit of adventure.

From an early age, Brian exemplified the qualities of a true leader. As an Eagle Scout, he demonstrated commitment and perseverance, values that would define his life’s pursuits. He graduated from Trinity Catholic High School in Stamford, where he excelled not only academically but also as an athlete, playing tennis, soccer, and ice hockey. Brian’s passion for learning and adventure led him to Norwich University in Vermont, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Brian’s life-long dream of becoming a Navy SEAL became a reality in June 2001 when he enlisted in the United States Navy. His journey through Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training in Coronado, California, was marked by his determination and resilience. In 2003, he proudly became a SEAL, joining an East Coast SEAL Team based in Virginia Beach, VA.

Throughout his distinguished career, Brian earned numerous awards, including three Bronze Stars with Valor, reflecting his bravery and dedication. However, it was his spirit, kindness, and humility that left a lasting impact on those who knew him. Brian’s colleagues remember him not just for his exceptional skills, but for his unwavering positivity and the constant smile that he carried with him.

Beyond his military accomplishments, Brian was a man of many talents and passions. An avid fly-fisherman, skier, and skydiver, he also scaled some of the world’s highest peaks, including Aconcagua in Argentina and Mount Elbrus in Russia. He completed several marathons, obtained his commercial pilot’s license, and was fluent in French, with a working knowledge of Russian. Brian’s love for adventure was matched only by his intellectual curiosity and his drive to excel in all his endeavors.

Brian was a devout Catholic, whose faith was a guiding force in his life. He was known for his compassion, generosity, and the profound love he had for his family, friends, and country. His humility and dedication to serving others were evident in every aspect of his life.

As we honor Brian on what would have been his birthday, we remember a man who lived life to its fullest, embracing every challenge with courage and enthusiasm. His legacy is a testament to the extraordinary impact one person can have through dedication, love, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Brian is survived by his loving parents, Dr. Michael and Patricia Parry, and Scott Bill, his grandmother Betty Hardiman, and his siblings Christian Bill, Amy Kutney (husband Chad and their daughter Ryder), Andrea Sholes (husband Christopher and their daughter Kyra), Kerry Welch, Tessa Bill, and Morgan Bill. He is also remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many cousins, all of whom continue to cherish his memory.
