As a proud veteran, he bravely served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army.
Peter’s professional journey as a Mechanical Engineer spanned over 35 years with the US Postal Service, a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Beyond his career, he found joy in his community affiliations, including his membership in the American Legion Sutter-Terlizzi Post 16 and the Czecho Club in Shelton.
A sports enthusiast, Peter’s passion for the NY Giants and NY Yankees was matched only by his love for coaching youth football and baseball. His impact extended far beyond the field, as he touched countless lives with his kindness and positivity. Peter’s dedication to his family was unwavering, and his greatest joy was found in their company.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Mariette, his children Jacqueline and Peter Jr. with wife Laura, and his cherished grandchildren Gabriella, Madeleine, and Ethan. Peter is also remembered fondly by his brother Andrew, sisters Marie and Grace, and numerous nieces and nephews.
