This Thursday, CVB preview commemorates the 251st anniversary of the Boston Massacre, reflecting on the events of 5 March 1770 that shaped American history. Veterans and their families are invited to mark the occasion while exploring 17 veteran-focused events across Connecticut this week.

Backpacks For Life To Help Homeless Veterans
Donation Drive Saturday,

BFL distributes backpacks filled with daily essential items to help homeless veterans.
Support homeless veterans by contributing to Backpacks for Life, a nonprofit that has distributed more than 13,000 backpacks to veterans in 33 states, providing essential supplies and hope during reintegration to civilian life.
Drive-up donations will be accepted April 11th during scheduled times at UConn.
Please support or share this important annual effort to help veterans in need.
