On Saturday, January 18th at 9:00am we will be removing the over 11,000 wreaths placed at Veteran headstones during Wreaths Across America, held on December 14th.
We will be removing wreaths from the State Veterans Cemetery located at 317 Bow Lane in Middletown and Colonel Raymond Gates Cemetery located at 287 West Street (across the street from our main CT Veterans Affairs campus).
We will begin at 9:00am. No RSVP or registration is required, just show up to join in.
We appreciate your anticipated volunteerism and support!

Painting Hearts of Hope for Veterans and Military Dogs
Family-friendly event to “create hope” by painting and decorating beautiful Hearts of Hope gifts for our military troops, military dogs, and canine handlers. Participants will create a message of caring and compassion to accompany each heart. Hearts of Hope gifts and messages will be delivered to the Canines and Handlers of the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) – aka the “Green Berets” – at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida and the Connecticut National Guard at the 928 Military Detachment in Newtown, Connecticut.
