WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM

The Global War on Terrorism monument was designed by the City of Shelton’s Veterans Memorial Committee. Just as the other monuments in Veteran’s Memorial Park honor all who served and lists the names of Shelton residents who were killed in action in those wars, the committee is honoring the memory of all veterans who served during the Global War On Terror with particular emphasis on Shelton resident, U. S. Army First Lieutenant Thomas J. Brown who was killed in action on September 23, 2008, in Balad, Iraq.

Veterans Memorial Park is located at 38 Canal Street in Shelton, CT across from the Inline Plastics factory.

Please contact Milt Harrigan with any questions via e-mail at miltharr@comcast.net

Hosted by: City of Shelton Veterans Memorial Committee

Location: Veterans Memorial Park, 38 Canal St,  Shelton, CT 06484
