The Afghanistan Iraq Veterans War Memorial Fund is a non-profit organization established to create a memorial to honor all Connecticut residents who have served in the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. The site selected in coordination with the City of Danbury and the Danbury Veterans Council is in front of the War Memorial Building located in Rogers Park, Danbury, Connecticut. A Mission Founded By Jennifer Smith, local Retired Military Veteran. Jenn started this organization with teaching others horsemanship as one of the main focuses. Her love for horses and teaching children over the last 30 years has led her to this venture. Our lessons make a huge difference in the lives of equine at risk right in our own community and all over the country. It doesn’t get much more gratifying than knowing you are helping to care for our rescue horses, and all while supporting the community through Equine Assisted Learning Programs
