Bobby Adams joined the Navy shortly after his 17th birthday, embarking on a distinguished military career that saw him rise to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Throughout his time in the Navy, Bobby demonstrated an unwavering commitment to his country, a dedication that earned him the respect and admiration of those who served alongside him. His leadership, resilience, and tireless work ethic defined his years in service, and after retiring from the Navy, his contributions to both his community and his family continued.
After his Naval retirement, Bobby launched his own electrical company, further showcasing his hard work and determination. Later, he became a ship supervisor at Electric Boat, continuing his lifelong connection to the maritime world. Bobby also took great pride in his role as commander of VFW Post 3263 in Mystic, Connecticut, where he supported and led his fellow veterans with the same commitment he had shown during his military career.
Bobby’s legacy extends beyond his service. He was a loving husband to his late wife, Isolde, and a devoted father to his children, Barbara, Linda, Susan, and Lisa, and a doting grandfather to his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
