CVB’s Thursday 19 February 2026 Preview provides advance visibility into Saturday’s Connecticut Veterans Calendar Publication, showcasing veteran-driven events across the state from late February through March 2026. This week’s CVB Veterans calendar publications are dedicated to those lost in the sinking of the USS Bismarck Sea, which took place on 21 February, 1945. Event highlights include the American Legion Post 27 Austrian Dinner in Litchfield on February 21, the Grab and Go Polish dinner at Post 68 in Berlin on February 26, the launch of the VFW Post 201 Texas Hold ’Em Tournament on March 5 in Waterbury, the Hartford HealthCare Women Warriors event on March 7 in Rocky Hill, the Port 5 Chili Cook Off in Bridgeport on March 8, St. Patrick’s dinners and celebrations statewide, the March 21 Higganum-Haddam VFW Post 10690 Veteran Fair & Open House, veteran-focused comedy fundraisers including Homes For The Brave’s 10th Annual Veterans By Veterans All Star Comedy Night, Vietnam Veterans appreciation events in Branford and statewide, the VFW District 4 Bowling Tournament on March 29, and the March 31 Blood Drive at VFW Post 296 in Winsted. Together, these events reflect active engagement, community support, and meaningful opportunities for Connecticut veterans and their families.
