RED FRIDAY, 17 April 2026, Remember Everyone Deployed. Operation Epic Fury update.

On Watch, On Mission, and Never Alone

U.S. service members remain fully engaged across the Middle East, carrying out their mission with discipline, precision, and unwavering focus across land, air, and sea. This is an active operational environment where readiness is constant and every decision carries weight, yet is executed with professionalism and control.

Following a ceasefire announcement earlier this month, deployed forces maintain full combat posture without reduction in readiness. Air defense systems remain active and fully manned across multiple installations. Patriot batteries, C-RAM systems, and counter-unmanned aerial systems operate continuously within integrated joint command networks designed to detect and respond to threats in real time.

Iranian-backed militia activity continues through drone launches and indirect fire incidents directed toward coalition positions in Iraq and eastern Syria. U.S. forces respond immediately. Detection systems identify inbound threats, and interception follows through coordinated engagement procedures. Every response is executed with precision and discipline, exactly as trained.

ISR assets remain active overhead, maintaining continuous awareness of launch points, movement corridors, and threat patterns. The environment remains structured through constant surveillance, rapid response capability, and synchronized defensive operations.

At sea, U.S. naval forces enforce an active maritime control blockade centered on the Strait of Hormuz. Carrier strike group elements, destroyers, and maritime patrol aircraft maintain persistent presence across critical shipping lanes. Commercial traffic is monitored continuously and routed through controlled corridors under U.S. naval authority. High-risk vessels are identified early and subjected to inspection, diversion, or continuous shadowing as required. At least six Iranian commercial vessels, including oil tankers, have been turned back to their ports.

This is sustained blockade over one of the most strategically important waterways in the world. Movement continues, but it does so under observation, compliance, and enforcement.

As force posture expands, additional Army air defense units, Marine expeditionary elements, and naval assets reinforce coverage across the theater. Carrier operations increase in tempo. Command structures remain fully synchronized across all domains, ensuring air, land, and maritime operations function as one integrated system. There have been talks regarding additional deployments.

Air defense crews maintain continuous radar tracking and interception readiness. Marines and Soldiers sustain perimeter defense and rapid reaction capability. Sailors execute maritime enforcement operations with precision. Aviation units remain on immediate standby for ISR, strike, and support missions. Every element remains active, engaged, and essential.

Above all, this moment carries meaning beyond operations.

It carries gratitude.

There is deep respect for those who stand watch while others sleep. There is appreciation for families who carry the weight at home, who wait through silence between communications, and who sustain daily life with strength and resilience. Their sacrifice is constant, even when unseen. Our Gold Star Families are always in our prayers. Their heroes are our heroes. We remember them today and every day. Their service is eternally honored.

This RED FRIDAY, we pray for every service member standing in harm’s way. We pray for their safety, clarity, and strength. We pray for their families who stand behind them with unwavering support and faith. And we give thanks for their service, their discipline, and their commitment to something greater than themselves.

They remain on mission. They remain in control. And they remain in our prayers.

God bless Our Troops !!
