The 16 May 2026 Edition of CVB’s Weekly Connecticut Veterans Calendar Publication, includes 119 events for CT Veterans remaining in May, in Volume one. Whereas Volume two Includes 143 events for CT Veterans beyond May. Volume three includes recurring CT Veterans events and programs.

The Saturday, May 16, 2026, edition of the Connecticut Veterans Bulletin marks the national observance of Armed Forces Day. As the premiere calendar source for the state’s military community, this three-volume publication provides a comprehensive guide to over 260 events and programs, ensuring that Connecticut’s service members and veterans remain connected and informed.
Volume One is laser-focused on the immediate weeks ahead, featuring over 40 Memorial Day parades, ceremonies, and “Flags In” events. Key highlights include the Middletown “Flags In” at the State Veterans Cemetery on May 23 and the West Hartford Memorial Day Parade on May 25, which honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
Volume Two extends the mission beyond the current month, cataloging 143 upcoming events through September 2026. This volume is headlined by the 6016 Veterans Awareness Project Benefit on June 7 at the Shamrock Cafe in Suffield, which includes live music, BBQ, and a critical toiletries collection for veterans in need.
Volume Three serves as a vital directory for recurring programs and services. It highlights essential resources such as the Warriors For Warriors free acupuncture sessions in Niantic, the Connecticut Veterans Coffee House network, and the Veteran Owned Business (VOB) directory. This volume also provides detailed information on food pantries, membership opportunities in organizations like the American Legion and VFW, and specialized therapeutic programs including equine and art therapy.
