The Connecticut Veterans Bulletin serves as a vital hub for our state’s military community. By transforming fragmented information into a unified resource, this weekly publication addresses the critical need for connection to Connecticut Veterans Events. Consequently, we organize essential events, resources, and programs into three easy-to-navigate volumes.
This Thursday preview serves as an early spotlight on the latest Connecticut Veterans Events scheduled for our upcoming Saturday edition. By reviewing this summary, you receive advanced notice to plan your participation in Connecticut Veterans Events. Below, we introduce the primary programs recently added to our calendar.
Support Services and Educational Resources
We feature directed assistance programs, such as the CTNG Annual Back To School Bash and the Easterseals Freedom Stride 2026. These offerings provide support to veterans, military families, and individuals with disabilities.
Community and Recreational Outreach
Furthermore, you will find details on family-friendly activities. These include the All-American Summer at Lake Compounce and the community-focused Bendfeorm Corn Reaping Feast. Such Connecticut Veterans Events prioritize engagement and local veteran support.
Support and Fundraising Initiatives
In addition to recreation found within Connecticut Veterans Events, we have spotlighted various fundraisers. These include the American Legion Post 196 pasta dinner and the Puerto Vallarta fundraiser for American Legion District 1. Ultimately, these provide necessary financial backing for essential repairs and veteran programs.
Professional and Organizational Development
Moreover, our calendar includes critical training and networking opportunities. Examples include the VFW Department of Connecticut Schools of Instruction and the American Legion Post 161 fall baseball program. These opportunities foster professional growth and community representation.
Commemorative and Milestone Events
Finally, the publication highlights significant milestones and tributes. These include the Rat Pack MC Vietnam Memorial Stone Dedication, the HAVOCT, Inc. 20th Anniversary Military Ball, and the Department of Connecticut VFW State Testimonial Dinner.
For a complete list of all Connecticut Veterans Events, please refer to the full calendar in our upcoming Saturday publication. We encourage you to use these volumes to stay informed, engaged, and connected to the support networks available across Connecticut.
For a complete list of events and more details, please refer to the full Connecticut Veterans Calendar in our upcoming publication or through our previous publication. Although our last edition does not include the newest events listed below, it contains all other ongoing listings.

I am not a veteran. I am a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the United States Air Force Auxiliary. But in 1991, personal loss brought me to a place I never left.
Over two decades later, that loss led me to the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, Connecticut, where I took on the coordination of Wreaths Across America — which grew into the largest and fastest growing veterans program in the state. I didn’t do it for recognition. I did it for them.
In 2016 I founded the Connecticut Veterans Bulletin. Not because I served, but because I believe those who did deserve to be honored, connected, and kept alive.
Twenty-two veterans die by suicide every day. I knew about that number before it became a hashtag. I knew it personally, long before anyone was talking about it.
This publication exists because that number is unacceptable. Because every veteran in Connecticut deserves to know someone gives a damn.
That someone is me.
